Instructions

  • Combine the ground pork, cabbage, scallions, onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Fill a dumpling wrapper with a small spoonful of the mixture.
  • Brush the wrapper's edges with beaten egg, then fold it in half to make a half-moon shape.
  • Pinch the wrapper's edges together to seal the filling inside.
  • Rep with the rest of the wrappers and filling.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil before beginning to cook the dumplings.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.
  • Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
