Instructions

  • Combine the ground beef, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large mixing bowl.
  • Fill each dumpling wrapper with a small spoonful of the beef mixture.
  • Moisten the wrapper's edges with water and fold it in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
  • Combine the sesame seeds and vegetable oil in a small bowl.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the dumplings are browned on the bottom.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid and add 1/4 cup of water.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the dumplings are done and the liquid has evaporated.
  • Drizzle the sesame seed mixture over the dumplings and continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the sesame seeds are lightly toasted.
