Instructions

  • Combine the cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, garlic, ginger, and green onions in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the soy sauce and sesame oil thoroughly.
  • To make a slurry, combine the cornflour and water in a small bowl.
  • Fill each dumpling wrapper with a small spoonful of the cabbage mixture.
  • Wet your fingers and wet the edges of the wrapper.
  • To seal, fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges together.
  • Steam the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through, in a steamer basket.
  • Serve immediately with soy sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
